AUSTIN JENNINGS - Writer, Director, Producer
Drawing inspiration in equal parts from surrealist Jan Svankmajer, documentarian Al Reinert and regionalist painter Andrew Wyeth, Austin hopes to breathe new life into the nonfiction narrative while continuing to explore his own growing aesthetic. Ghosts of the Sharpanova is Austin's directorial feature debut. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in film editing from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2008, Austin has since been working in Manhattan in broadcast television. Previously working as a stock footage researcher and assistant editor, he currently makes a living as a Post Production Supervisor for MTV. His previous short subject documentary, Casting Session, played at the 2009 Riverrun Film Festival. |

PATRICK SANDEFUR - Producer Patrick Sandefur is a film producer based in Brooklyn, New York. He has spent the last year developing Ghosts of the Sharpanova, and his Italian language documentary Sul Fiume (On the River) dir. Davide Maldi will be having its International Premiere at the International Environmental Film Festival in Torino, Italy in June, 2011.
His company, Poorhouse Pictures produces features for the international market, focused on director driven content in the new story-telling age.

MARY LENA COLSTON - Production Designer Mary is a freelance Production Designer and illustrator residing in Brooklyn, New York. She has worked on a multitude of commercials and films with clients such as Nokia, Charter, Universal and an award winning commercial in set design for Macy's showcasing of the film Coraline. She comes from a lifelong visual arts background and has a passion for illustrative and film storytelling. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for Production Design in Filmmaking. |

MORGAN Z. SCHULTZ - Editor Morgan Schultz was born in Langley, Virginia, and as a child, developed a curious interest in filmmaking. With the assistance of his 8mm digital camera and a handful of neighborhood actors, his interest grew over time into a strong passion for storytelling and cinema. After High School he was accepted at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking. It was there that Morgan worked on a multitude of projects and served as picture and sound editor on several award winning short films shown at the Ivy Film Festival, RiverRun Film Festival and the Provincetown International Film Festival. Morgan is currently a senior editor at 223 Post Services in Greensboro, NC. Recently, he was featured on a FOX 8 Newsmakers report for the documentary, Son of Lexington, a project he co-directed and edited.
